Salmon has to be one of my favorite meals, but if you’re like me who try’s to eat salmon at least once a week, you definitely need to find different ways you can make it, so you won’t get bored of it too quickly! I tried making it a little sweeter a couple of weeks ago, and it was a big hit! Alex absolutely loved it, and begged for more after he finished eating his first plate (it’s always good when he asks for more) 😜! So I thought I’d share with Ya’ll my “Honey Glazed Salmon” recipe, so you guys can try it at home & let me know how you guys like it!
1/3 of Raw Honey
1/4 of Soy Sauce
2 tbsp of freshly squeezed Lemon Juice
3 tbsp of extra-virgin olive oil
4-6 oz of Salmon fillets (make sure to pat them dry)
Salt (added to your own personal taste)
Freshly ground black pepper (added to your own personal taste)
3 cloves of garlic minced
1 lemon sliced into rounds
How it’s Made :
Preheat oven to 400 degrees F.
In a medium bowl, whisk together the raw honey, soy sauce and lemon juice.
Season the salmon with the salt and pepper (to your own personal taste), and drizzle over the whisked sauce that you created with the raw honey, soy sauce and lemon juice onto the salmon. I personally added more honey once I placed the salmon on the baking sheet, because I wanted it to come out extra sweet!
Cover the salmon with aluminum foil, and place the baking sheet into oven and bake until completely cooked through, for about 20-25 minuets.
Once the salmon is completely cooked, remove the extra aluminum foil from the top, and place back into the oven for about 5 minutes on broil to give it that golden crispy look.
Serve immediately with any of your favorite sides!
Today I woke up in the mood to cook, but to cook something totally out of my comfort zone. Since I was planning on relaxing the whole day at Casa Lizano today, I thought what better day than today, to make some yummy Baby-Back Ribs in our Slow Cooker! So here’s a little recipe for the next time you decide to bring out your Slow Cooker for some yummy ribs :
Slow Cooker Chinese Spare Ribs Ingredients :
3 LB Baby-Back Ribs of your liking
1/4 cup of Soy Sauce
1/2 cup of Raw Honey
1/3 cup of Hoisin Sauce
1 1/2 teaspoon of Chinese Five Spice Powder
2 tablespoons of Sugar
3 tablespoons of Sweet Chili Sauce
5-6 gloves of Garlic minced
2 teaspoon of Cornstarch
Chili Powder (to liking)
How it’s Made :
The day before you’re planning on making these ribs try to marinade them for at least 12 hours or longer, so the ribs can suck up all the juices from the marinade sauce that you’ll be preparing. In a small bowl mix the soy sauce, honey, hoisin sauce, five spice powder, sugar, sweet chili sauce, garlic and chili powder (to your liking).
Once all of the above are mixed, cut the ribs between the bones to give individual ribs and place them in a larger bowl or freezer bag, so you can pour in the marinade sauce over the ribs, and don’t forget to allow them too sit in the marinade for at least 12 hours or more for a flavorful taste!
Place ribs and marinade in slow cooker and cook on low for 6 hours or on high for 4 hours. (I personally cooked it for 4 hours on high.)
Once the slow cooker finished cooking, remove ribs from slow cooker and place them on a foil lined baking sheet.
Remove the top layer of fat from the juice in the slow cooker, pour the remaining liquid into a small saucepan and whisk in 2 teaspoon of cornstarch on low, so that the sauce thickens.
Brush thickened sauce over ribs and broil the ribs for about 5-6 minutes so the sauce is able to caramelize on top.
Garnish with green onions and sesame seeds if desired!
Chinese Fried Rice Ingredients :
1 can of Diced Carrots
1 White Onion
Diced Green Onions
1 can of Peas
Soy Sauce (added to taste)
Butter (best way to stir fry the rice, rather than oil)
How it’s Made :
Using cooked chilled rice is the best way to make some yummy fried rice, you’ve gotta plan ahead and use throughly chilled rice. A fresh batch won’t do the trick, so I suggest making the rice earlier in the day and storing it until you’re ready to make your fried rice.
In a sauté pan, scramble your eggs using a small pat of butter, breaking them into small pieces as you go. Then transfer the eggs to a separate plate, and set aside.
Sauté your veggies and garlic with the remaining butter altogether until they are throughly cooked.
Scooch the veggies over to one side of the pan, melt some more butter in the other half of he pan, and add the chilled rice and soy sauce. Then stir to combine with the veggies and continue sautéing the rice altogether, stirring for a full 3 minutes, or until you notice that the rice and veggies are starting to brown slightly.
Remove pan from heat and stir in your green onions, sesame seeds and scramble eggs.
Give the rice taste, and season with some salt and pepper to your liking!
Gather around ladies, I wanted to share something with ya’ll for a while a now! As many of you know, ever since I was little I’ve worked in the jewelry industry with my family; I basically EAT, BREATH, and only SEE Jewelry! Jewelry is a part of me and so is the industry! Learning from a young age what it took to run a business, I felt a certain attraction in becoming someone out of my families industry. I always had this plan of graduating high-school and going off to college, which I did & I even graduated with my Bachelors Degree from FIU. Most would’ve thought that I was going to continue going to school and even graduating with a Masters, but I knew deep down inside, that I was born to do something completely different! I wanted to become a #BossBabe ! I wanted to look at myself and say, I DID THAT 🙋🏼♀️!
Most people think that becoming a Boss Babe means that, you are the only boss in whatever profession you are in. But I don’t necessarily believe that, I personally believe that a Boss Babe, is an individual that is striving for progression and productivity in their finances, fitness/health and mental prosperity. In order for you to progress in all of these categories you’ll have to be open to listen to others that are there to help you become a better version of yourself. And if you’re working endlessly towards bettering yourself in these 3-categories, then you are a total Boss Babe! I personally feel like anyone who has the right drive/mindset, the hustle, and a great support system can become a Boss Babe!
Drive / Mindset :
The drive and mindset that one has towards something they’d like to accomplish in life is extremely important, but it can also be blurred with our own inside thoughts! When I first started realizing that I wanted to become someone in my families jewelry industry (and not just their employee/daughter) I started thinking to myself negative thoughts. And I think it’s completely normal for most people to do so, because we’re fearful of failure. But I also realized that in order to start this journey, I needed to shake off all the negative thoughts. My two biggest hurdles to overcome were; “What if this doesn’t work”, or “What if I’m not good enough”. Which honestly it was pretty dumb of me to think, because I’m GREAT at what I do! And what I bring to the table, is something that I can only do. I had to shift my mindset into a place where I was happy with who I was and what I brought to this business. And I’m not saying that I’m completely perfect, because no one is, but at least I’m open to learning every single day & progressing. That drive & mindset need to be there from the get-go and you can never loose sight in them, even if you feel like you’ve succeeded! Because at the end of the day, progress is the only thing that will keep you bettering yourself into becoming the Boss Babe that you were always meant to be!
“Na-na-na, Diva is a female version of a hustle, of a, of a hustle, of a, of a hustla!”
-Beyonce : Diva
Having the ability to hustle for money in an ethical way is extremely important and so is being smart with your money. Taking the current global situation (COVID-19) our business was mandated by the County that we had to close, because it’s considered a non-essential business. But our clients are proving us otherwise, and I being the hustler that I am, I’ve been trying to provide our clients with as much help as possible, within my limitations. This comes to show that if you’re willing to do what it takes to hustle for your money, then you are that much closer in becoming a Boss Babe! I’ve realized that with this global pandemic, I can’t just sit around and expect for money to grow from thin air. So here I am making the best from a very not-so-great situation; and proving myself that I am capable of continuing on my Boss Babe journey, no matter what this world throws at me!
Support System :
Those who are around you and supporting you every step of the way can truly make a difference in your journey. I personally have always had a great support system, my parents have always been open to hearing my ideas and providing feedback when it’s needed and so has my husband. I think it’s important to have a circle that you can feel safe to help you along the way, you can’t expect to do everything on your own. Because again, the progress is much more important than proving to others that you can do it by yourself. I also feel like the term “collaboration” should be included in this section, because when you’re able to collaborate with others, you are allowing yourself to gain more visibility while also providing a platform for someone else within your audience. Don’t be afraid to collaborate with others, because you never know how it might turn out. Creating a habit of working with one another, will uplift and elevate each individual, we are not here to tear others down, we are here to work together to produce a beautiful and meaningful connection with one another, thus creating a much bigger and a much more reliable support system!
– Just Be Yourself!
Being yourself and not loosing who you are is the most important one of all! Always hold yourself to standards when it comes to your personal and professional life! Boss Babes are those who live their truth and don’t let others compromise their values and beliefs! Cheers to working together to continue being the best versions of ourselves & badass Boss Babes!💛
It’s been 1 whole year since we both said I DO, and quite frankly, it feels like just yesterday! There will never be any amount of words that can explain how blessed I am to have you in my life. God truly broke the mold when he made you, with that being said, I thank God each and every day for allowing you to be my husband. I love that I get to share this life alongside you, you are one of the smartest and strongest people I know. Whenever I see you after I’ve had a long day at work, I am reassured that everything will be ok + you always find a way to make me laugh, so it’s only fair to say that you’re my daily reassurance! Thank you for your endless kisses and for always whispering in my ear how much you love me every morning. Thank you for always checking-up on me and on my daily goals (you truly are my #1 supporter)! Thank you for always satisfying my Slurpee cravings, even though you think it’s not 100% healthy 🤣. Thank you for always asking me to dance with you, even if it’s in our living room. The list could go on and on and we could be here all day, but I do want to thank you for the most important part; for loving me unconditionally! I found love in you and I promise you that no other love will ever do, my heart will forever be yours lover. You’ve accepted me with all of my flaws and virtues, and with that I’ve learned to love myself even more. You love me for who I am, and you’ve never asked me to change that. Thank you for your acceptance and for always rooting for me to continue being myself!
This past year has been one for the books! Even though we’ve been together for about 9 years now, every year with you gets better and better every single time. But of course, this was our 1st year married, so it’s been even more special for the both of us! We’ve both grown, accomplished & learned so much together! We’ve motivated one another through the good and the bad, we’ve been inclusive to one another in any decision making; so thank you for that. Plus, we even adopted our precious little Scoobs! BEST DECISION EVER!! But of course he’s been a handful, but a handful that has been totally worth it! So I guess, thanks for being such a great father to our little Scoobs, he sure does appreciate it lol 🐶 !
So I guess this is a letter to thank you for being such a wonderful man, but I also wanted to express exactly how much I love you too! And the answer to that is very simple, I love you because of who you are & for all the reasons I just listed on this letter. Our hearts have intertwined into a perfect harmony since the beginning, because of the love we both have for one another. I will forever & always love you Mr. Lizano!💛 I promise to continue walking this life with you as your wife, best friend, helping mate and your lover. I promise to continue encouraging you. I promise to never stop holding your hand. I promise to always cook you a badass meal & always prepare your lunch for the next day! I promise to continue standing by your side while you face the world. I promise to always join your laughter with my own, and when you can’t look on the bright side, I will sit with you in the dark. I promise to continue growing alongside you. I promise to continue loving, respecting, protecting and trusting you! For I know that together we will. forever build a life far better than either of us could imagine alone. Cheers to us and to a lifetime together!
Now that we basically devoured our favorite dip; I honestly couldn’t wait till tomorrow to give you all the sweet deets of this recipe — here’s something yummy & quick you can make for any in-home date-night or for whenever this whole quarantine is over and you can finally have a friends & family gathering!
3 Cans of Tuna
1 White Onion (diced)
How it’s Made :
Drain cans of tune and make sure that there’s no remaining liquid, you won’t want the consistency to be watery. You will continue by adding each ingredients individually and mixing in between each ingredients.
Dice the white onion & mix into the tuna.
Squeeze the lime & mix into tuna.
Add 2 tablespoons of Mayonnaise & mix into tuna.
Start adding Curry powder and mix until the tuna starts turning green or to taste.
Chop cilantro & add into mixture.
Add dried cranberries & sliced almonds to taste and mix all together.
Last night Alex & I gave up our Pumpkin carving kit, and we decided to turn things up a notch with our painting skills. Instead of doing the usual and carve a pumpkin, we really wanted to do something completely different and not as messy. Carving pumpkins can become a very messy date-night, and I wasn’t looking forward to cleaning up all of those guts! Which is why I came up with the idea of turning it into a painting sesh; and honestly it was the BEST idea EVER!
At first Alex was complaining that he isn’t a good painter, but I mean, its not like it was a competition 😂 and he actually did a very good job! I just wanted this to be something fun & relaxing, so we opened up two Red Stripes 🍻, baked a pizza 🍕& got our painting on. In all honesty it was so relaxing, I don’t know if it was the fact that we had Sam Cooke playing in the background or if it was all the painting that was going on, I just felt like we took it easy & enjoyed ourselves fully. I’ve heard that painting can be therapeutic, because it allows the mind to focus on the images at hand and nothing else. The focus on one central topic relieves stress on the mind, and in turn relaxes the body. So this date-night was perfect after a long work-week (for me at least, because poor Alex had to clock-in today).
It’s always nice spending time together, but also finding unique things to-do from the comfort of our home, plus a super inexpensive date-night! You honestly don’t need much; except a few painting brushes, two pumpkins, a couple of acrylic paint kits & some Sam Cooke playing in the background! Oh & of course you’ll also need some cute ideas/designs 💡 for your pumpkins, Alex & I looked up on Pinterest “Pumpkin Painting Ideas” & there was more than a million ideas/designs to choose from!
Casa Lizano is officially ready for Halloween 👻 with our cute pumpkins 🎃 that are giving us all the Disney vibes! We hope you all can enjoy some cute/fun pumpkin decorating during this spooky season & don’t forget to give “pumpkin painting” a try; ya’ll will thank us later! -Enjoy
I mean, who doesn’t love a good ol’ Sunday Brunch? I sure do! Alex & I love going to Bonefish every once in a while for Sunday Brunch, but recently we’ve been brunching from the comfort of our home, because who doesn’t love a lazy Sunday? Especially when you get to enjoy it in the comfort of your favorite PJ’s & Slippers! Alex normally works 11-days straight & then has a 3-day weekend, so we always try to make the best of it whenever he’s got the whole weekend off. And what better way than to celebrate his Sunday off than with brunch?
I’m normally an early bird, no matter what day of the week it is. So while Alex takes a break from his early morning routine for work, I prepare some yummy breakfast & every little thing that we will be needing for Sunday Brunch; Mimosas DUH!💁🏼♀️🥂 So, I thought it’d be nice to share a few of my favorite recipes for your next Sunday Brunch, I hope ya’ll can enjoy!
Western Omelette or Scrambled Eggs :
Alex & I love either of the two, especially when they are packed with yummy ingredients; which is why we always stick to the Western one. Plus it’s super easy to make, and omelettes/scrambled eggs in general are a great choice for a low carb breakfast, because they pack you full of protein and keep you full for quite a while easily.
1 tablespoon butter
3 large eggs (in our case 4-5 large eggs, depending how hungry we are)
1/2 cup onion finely chopped
1/4 cup green bell pepper/red bell pepper finely diced
1/4 cooked ham chopped
1/4 cup sharp cheddar cheese
Salt/pepper to liking
How it’s made :
In a medium bowl beat the eggs well & set aside.
I’m an 8-inch skillet 🍳, melt 1 tbsp of butter, then add in the onion & sauté until tender.
Add in bell peppers and fry until the onions are softened to your liking and the bell peppers are tender crisp.
Add the ham and cook for one more minute while stirring.
Pour the eggs mixture over top of fried ham/vegetable mixture.
Turn down the stove heat to low and cover with a lid for about 4-5 minutes.
Once the eggs are solid and cooked almost through, flip the entire circle and cook for one more minute. But if you’d prefer to eat some yummy scrambled eggs, just scramble them up while adding some cheese & skip the following two steps down below!
Place the cheese on one side of the omelette and fold over the omelette into a half circle shape.
Let the cheese melt inside and then serve.
Homemade Pancakes :
I’m obsessed with pancakes, so whenever I get the chance to munch on them…I definitely do just that!😜 Check out these easy to make homemade pancakes 🥞 from scratch! (Plus, besides adding some sweet syrup; you can also top them off with some freshly cut strawberries & whipped cream!)
1 1/2 cups of all purpose flour
2 tsp baking powder
2 tsp sugar
1/2 tsp salt
1 egg (beaten)
1 1/2 cup of milk
How it’s made :
Mix in all the dry ingredients together in a large bowl. (Flour, baking powder, sugar, salt)
Whisk egg in a small bowl and add to the above flour mixture along with the milk.
Stir together, until well blended and pour onto hot greased griddle.
Wait until pancakes are bubbling and cooked around the edges and flip.
Garnish with freshly cut strawberries 🍓 & some yummy whipped cream.
I normally always like to have a couple of sides to pair with the Omelette/Scrambled Eggs 🍳& Pancakes 🥞 ; so I always tend to make some wheat or classic toast with butter or jelly. And of course we can’t forget the BACON 🥓; bacon is completely necessary for a Sunday Brunch @ Casa Lizano!
Oh, and we can’t forget the Mimosas either🥂, the most important part of it all 😆! Here’s what I consider the perfect mix for a Mimosa :
1/4 cup pulp-free orange juice
1/4 cup + a splash 😆 sparkling white wine (my personal recommendation would be Prosecco)
How it’s made :
Pour 1/4 cup of orange juice into a champagne flute (this should fill nearly half of the glass).
Pour 1/4 cup of Prosecco into the flute; and of course top it off with some extra splash..you can just eyeball it lol! (I’ve found that, that extra splash is exactly what the drink needs to go from good to GREAT! 🥂
If you’re like me, you can just garnish it with some of the extra freshly cut strawberries 🍓!
Time to enjoy :
Now that I’ve told you a few of my fave things to make for Sunday Brunch, I hope ya’ll can enjoy these easy-to-make recipes & let me know how ya’ll liked them!😘
We’re still on that honeymoon state of mind, but I wish we could be reliving that entire week all over again! When it came to honeymoon 🍯 planning, Alex & I literally had to wait till last minute to actually reserve anything. We were getting married on March 30th, and I kid you not when I am telling you that 2 weeks before the wedding, was when we were finally able to reserve our honeymoon. Ever since Alex started Pharmacy School, we would always have to plan things around his schedule, especially our honeymoon, because he was waiting to see where & when he would start his residency year.
So on March 15th, 2019 at exactly 8:00AM, he finally got that phone call that we were both yearning for so long. He had gotten accepted at the #1 place that he really wanted to do his 1st year of residency & we were finally on the clear to plan our honeymoon. His graduation date was set for May 17th & he still had to study for his board exam before he started the residency program, which only left us with 1 possible week to celebrate our honeymoon. Which was perfect, because all we really wanted to do was take some time off, just for the two of us & disconnect from our normal routine.
Fast forward to one day later, and we were able to get an amazing deal on a 1-week cruise on the Symphony of the Seas by Royal Caribbean Cruise Line & we were finally able to book our honeymoon! The best part of it all, was that we were leaving the day after Alex’s graduation, so it honestly couldn’t have been planned any better! We both needed this time off, but it was extra special for Alex, because he was officially graduating from Pharmacy School, so it was double the celebration!
I personally love cruising, because you don’t really have to worry about anything, everything is literally taken care of for your, and Royal Caribbean really knows how to treat their guests on-board. From the moment we got to the port they were fully aware that we were on our honeymoon & really gave us those extra perks. Not a day passed by, that we didn’t feel like we were both on Cloud 9! Everything about this trip was absolutely perfect; from the service, to our balcony ocean-view cabin, to the food, to the shows & honestly the list can go on. Royal Caribbean is an exceptional cruise line! They’ve got jaw-dropping performances on stage, ice, water and air with entertainment that transcends the stage, literally. Plus they’ve got so many onboard experiences, that it would be imposible for you to get bored on their ships!
Our itinerary included the following ports : (W/ 3 at Sea Days)
Coco Cay Perfect Day
Even though, Alex & I have been to all of these 3 islands, we were both just looking forward to relaxing & trying out different excursions that we probably hadn’t done before. Plus, Coco Cay (which is a private island that is owned by Royal Caribbean) had recently gotten a total facelift 😂, so we were looking forward to checking that out as well.
St. Kitts :
Alex & I really wanted to do the Mount Liamuiga Volcano Hike at St. Kitts, but unfortunately due to the weather they had to cancel this excursion. So we decided to go ATV riding throughout the St. Kitts rainforest (which we were able to see Mount Liamuiga from afar + snap some beautiful pictures) & then ended up at the beach, sipping on tropical drinks while we sun-bathed.
St. Thomas :
At St. Thomas, we sailed away on a Catamaran that took us to Christmas Cove where we snorkeled with sea turtles & stingrays. And later sipped on unlimited rum-punch🍹, while we partied our way back to our cruise ship!
Coco Cay, Perfect Day :
Honestly this day was full of tropical drinks & delicious food by the beach, while we sun-bathed at one of their adults-only beaches. Talk about a perfect 👌🏻 day at Coco Cay!
Days at sea, were just as good as the days that we were roaming the islands 🌴. We took those 3-days at sea to enjoy all the perks the ship has to offer + relax by the adults-only pool with a Piña Colada!🍍🍹Besides the fact that this was our honeymoon, this trip was one of the best, and it’s funny because I feel like I always say the same thing about every other trip, but seriously we couldn’t have selected a better way to spend our honeymoon!💛✨🥂🍯

As you may all know, I’m totally obsessed with cooking & trying out new recipes that will put me out of my comfort zone. I personally love to eat and it’s nice when you get to be the one behind the magic of prepping a meal. For a while now, many of my insta followers have been asking me to share a few of my recipes + share vlogs on how I prepare my meals. At first I was a bit skeptical, because in all honestly I’m kinda video/camera shy lol! But when Home Chef reached out to me, I thought “hey, maybe I can give this a try & film myself doing it” and I basically got myself out of that zone of being scared of the “what-if’s”!
It’s easy to be scared of trying something new, but you can’t fully judge something if you haven’t given it try. I feel like, we as humans allow ourselves to feel like trying something new isn’t always the right idea, because we’re scared of the feedback we’ll receive from it. And sometimes getting ourselves out of that comfort zone can be hard, but I’m glad that I took this opportunity to not only collaborate with such a yummy company (literally 😂 ), but also allow myself to do something different with my content & maybe open up more room for something that was actually fun to do!
Enough on my first filming experience & let’s dive in on my 1st experience with Home Chef. Home Chef is here to literally simplify your whole cooking experience & bringing people together around the dinning room table, by helping you save time while enjoying real home cooking and all of the joy that comes with it! Simplicity is their mantra! They provide you with easy-to-follow recipes & ingredients from online to your doorstep, to your kitchen table! I mean it can’t get any better than that!😍
How it works : Home Chef offers a meal kit delivery service in which you can choose from up to 26 different fresh weekly options including steak, chicken, pork, fish, and vegetarian. You’re in control as to what you want to eat, by customizing your choices by swapping, upgrading, or even doubling the recipes! Each week they send perfectly portioned ingredients with their recipes, so you never waste food. Plus, they provide fresh ingredients from their community of trusted suppliers.
Packaging: Honestly their packaging system is pretty interesting, their Home Chef boxes 📦 are completely lined with recycled, compostable, biodegradable textile fibers. And if that wasn’t enough they are completely insulated and equipped with ice packs, so all of your ingredientes stay nice & fresh, even if you’re not home!
Alex & I received our first package last week on Wednesday, and I was so excited to get my cooking on, that same day. But if you’re not up to cooking right away, most of their ingredients can stay from 3-5 days in the fridge, before they start going bad. Our package included 2-servings of the following 3 meals :
Cotija-Crusted Pork Chops
Maui Pork Tostadas
Hot Jalapeño Jelly Glazed Salmon
The Salmon was our first choice, because I was dying to taste that Jalapeño Jelly Glaze (I absolutely LOVE spicy 🌶 food) and to be honest it wasn’t extremely spicy, it was the perfect touch of spiciness! So Alex was definitely able to enjoy it as well. Here’s a quick look at the ingredients + step-by-step recipe that Home Chef provided for this meal :
Hot Jalapeño Jelly Glazed Salmon w/ Crispy Onion Asparagus:
Ingredients : (2 servings)
Crispy Fried Onions 1oz.
Hot Jalapeño Jelly 2oz.
Pecans 0 1/2oz.
Salmon Fillets 12oz.
Seasoned Salt Blend 0 1/2tsp.
Olive Oil 2tsp.
Start the Salmon : pat salmon dry, and season flesh side with a pinch of salt & pepper. Place a medium non-stick pan over medium heat and add 2tsp. of olive oil. Add salmon, skin-side up, to hot pan and sear throughly until golden brown and salmon reaches a minimum internal temperature of 145 degrees, 4-6 minutes per side. While salmon sears, cook asparagus.
Cook the Asparagus : trim woody ends off asparagus. Place a large non-stick pan over medium heat and add 2tsp. of olive oil. Add asparagus and seasoned salt to hot pan. Stir occasionally until lightly charred and tender, but still crisp, 8-10 minutes. Remove from burner and stir in pecans and crispy onions.
Finish the Salmon : remove pan with salmon from burner & top with jalapeño jelly. Gently flip salmon until coated with jelly. Jelly will loosen up as it heats.
Finish the Dish : plate dish as pictured on front of card & Bon appétit!
Honestly, it was the simplest meal ever & it was so full of flavor! Alex & I really enjoyed prepping this meal together (even though Alex was mostly behind the camera making sure we covered the whole prepping process)! Home Chef definitely goes above and beyond to provide everything that you might need for your next meal + the quality of their ingredients speak for themselves when you take that first bite. Now that a week has passed by & we’ve tried the other 2 meals that arrived in our 1st package, I can fully say that Home Chef is definitely worth a try. If you’re the type of person that doesn’t know what to buy or how to prep a full meal, Home Chef might just be able to help you out with that! Check them out for yourselves & let me know what you think!😊
Here’s a quick video that my Hubby recorded of me cooking this delicious recipe, I hope you guys enjoy it, just as much as I did!
